Know Your Rights with ICE & Police Flyering in Panorama City Neighborhood

May 27, 2017

The Political Action Network gathered in Panorama City the morning of May 27th to canvas a local Latino neighborhood with door hangers that give advice for what to do if stopped by police or immigration officers. We had printed 250 flyers, and we ran out after only 1 hour of work! While we didn’t knock on doors, we did engage in conversations with the neighbors who were out and about during our canvassing. The people we spoke with seemed grateful for the information and were willing to share their own stories. PAN Members who participated said it was one of their favorite actions! We are currently working on other opportunities to continue this work.
